I got more photos of Rebecca and Rachael. They were getting Christmas gifts from the org. they are with. It is relatively new, but has a trust worthy fellow compassion child over it and they love the kids a lot.

Valera Goes On His Shopping Trip!

I paid to send Valera on  his orphanages shopping trip they had. This trip allows him to get things he needs an possibly wants as well. These kids love some clothes by the way. :)

Valera went shopping just after Christmas day. He bought sneakers, sweater, shirts, and socks. He loved being able to go.

First Letter from Julian

I received a letter from Julian at the same time as Rebecca and Rachael along with photos. He is one sweet boy.

So I receive a letter and some photos of Rebecca. This sweetheart can crack me up. :) She is just so confident. :D

Letter From Tolya... 5?

I got a letter from Tolya. This would make I believe letter five from him.

I'm very well. Hope you are well too!
The school is excellent! Sorry for not answering for a long time. We had much to do: the rehearsals for the New Year party, tests at school and etc. I'm at the lesson now, but don't worry, I'm ok.

We are celebrating New Year in a few days. Happy New Year! I wish you all the best and good health. When you are healthy you can do anything you want. I got a letter from my penpal Bibilically just after Christmas at the same time as Caritus. I will miss her as well. She also drew me such a sweet border and wrote such a sweet letter.

Third Letter From Amollo

I got another letter from Amollo just after Christmas. Her letter was a page and a half long and so sweet! :)

I send you my greetings in Jesus name. I thank God for my life and I thank God for you.
I am very happy with you.
I am fine and even my family is fine. Are you also fine?
I want to thank you for all my gifts, the letters, the photos, the card, the stickers,. My gifts are very many I can mot even mention all of them. Thank you for praying for me and my family.
To answer your questions . Me and my family , we are fine and our crops are doing well in the gardens 8 ( think that is an 8 she wrote.). I am sorry to hear your dads crops were destroyed by sunshine ( she talked about how the heat destroyed some of the crops there and I mentioned my dads to explain it has been pretty warm during the summers). Sorry about your sickness are you okey now? ( not sure what sickness?)
I am praying for you. Are you still missing the president of compassion ( I told her so many would miss Wess Stafford, Wess Stafford)? Sorry, me if I am to meet him I would tell him to continue being the Compassion president (so sweet and honest pertaining to what a lot of sponsors were asking during Wess Stafford's retirement what would they want to tell him). How was your journey to the Tennessee? I think it was not good for you because of the ticks (LOL. This tickles me. I told my kids about beings attacked by ticks on my short trip to Tennessee. She is the first to mention it). How is your boyfriend Billy? I love the photo you to with with him. I also love the pictures of the fire works me I have never seen fire works. How was your independence? For us in Uganda we celebrated our independence on 9th/10/2013. I thank you for telling me the history of your country. I received very many photos I can not even count. I am now in the third term and I am working very hard to pass my exams. You pray that I pass. My brother Julius sat for his primary leaving examinations. You pray for him to pass.

Third Letter From Jario

Jairo is quite the artist I will start off by saying. He is actually the sweetest little boy and so mature for his years.

I now want to let you see what he wrote....

The great thing about his letter was how on time it was. It came in a few days before Christmas even though I could not post it until now.

Letter From Maylin!

I got another letter from sweet Maylin. I just love this sweet little girl. Her brother wrote a letter this time. I did not know she had an 11 year old brother just a baby brother. So it was a little of a shock to me.

 

Here is the letter written:

 

Usual the weather in my community is: rainy

Currently, the season is: rainy

When the weather is sunny, I like: to play in the street with her friends (The street is the specific   

                                                       place. Hoping it is not a busy one)

When the weather is rainy, I like: to sleep (Good idea and a smart little girl)

From January to June, we harvest: (Her drawing actually looks like apples and grapes)

From July to December, we harvest: (Again it looks like apples and grapes)

 

 

She then went on to the back and her brother did not write in the writing section, but I did get one cute drawing. It looks like rain clouds, a smiling winking sun, an umbrella, flowers maybe, and maybe the face of an smiling girl.

 

I then got on a white piece of paper written by Maylin's older brother an almost two page letter.

Maylin greets you with love; may God bless and take care from any danger to you and to your family. She lets you know that the weather here is rainy and her family is in good health, thank God. She thanks you for all the mail she has received and she answers your questions: she has been a bit sick with flu; pray for here so she gets well. Her father's arm is getting better, thank God. She wants to be a doctor to help the ones who are sick. Her goals are to finish Elementary School and become a good doctor. She is very happy in Guatemala; she likes to go to the circus. Her favorite food is chicken with French fries. Her favorite colors are purple and pink. She doesn't have pets but she likes dogs. She is very happy to see you in a photo; the day she got it, it was very special. She has 2 brothers; one is 11 and the other is 1 years old. She is the one in the middle. SO I DIN'T GET ANY PHOTOS OF THE SHOES SHE GOT FOR HER BIRTHDAY LAST DECEMBER OR A FAMILY PHOTO WHICH SADDENS ME, BUT I GOT AN AMAZING LETTER FROM HER. THE BOOK, CARD, AND SUCH WAS HER CHRISTMAS PACKAGE I SENT THIS YEAR. ALL IN THE GUIDELINES GREATFULLY. :)
